I’m in TX n I’m starting a diesel plant but I need to know how to begin and when will it start to bud.

ok so if your growing outdoors you need to start mid to late april and typical harvest lands early october….depending on strain can come earlier than that…goodluck

to that applys in california, ive nevr been to tx but if u havnt got a plant outside yet get it out there ,dig sum holes or use smart pots and soil i recommend 707 very very good soil get it planted then get some nutrients ,mabe foxfarm growbig-use as directed 1 tsp per gallon mix with super thrive also 1 tsp per gal. add both use 5 gal. bucket put 5 tsp each together in bucket fill with water ,if u have small clone stick with gallon jug add tsp. each ..water plants in morning and at nite nutrients every other day ..use nutrients all the way to harvest if u can afford it …when u see buds add foxfarm bigbloom to your mix of foxfarm growbig and super thrive mabe add sum molasus i would, pluck yellow leaves – deleaf (thin out) as your leaves will get thick so you will want to pluck leaves to let sunlight inside your plant ,dont worry about over plucking becaz they come back trust me , you want the light to get in there for upper canapy will shade the lowers and in middle they cant grow big without that light ,your buds will be airy and thin and less dense…well im done here ,goodluck and enjoy.. you owe me big time hahaha

oh the molasus adds weight and gives the bud sweetness thats why..

i want to know how to grow? how long before it should bud? how long before i hang them and do i cut the routes off or leave them on i think there about 8 weeks old

      to doug ,
Depending on where you are from it should start budding in late june and depending on what plant it should be done mid to late september – november …. but some sativas have been known to finish after december !
up here in colorado we try to keep indicas because they finish out before the snow comes but there are some ways of having plants finish out quickly when the photoperoid starts after the summer solstice passes ( june 21st) . But the tried and true way of knowing when to harvest is when the pistils or ” hairs ” on the buds are mostly brown . If you gave it enough time it will be very worth the wait !

First time outdoor project, i’m topping her in the next couple of days. a Beautiful clone currently standing at seven inches, just looking for advice for the difference in topping her indoor to outdoor, I’m going to cut two nodes from the top. Thank you for the help!

    • Ganja dude says:

you can use the F.I.M. style of topping , where you cut just after the very top node leaving 30-40% of the top . with this you should get 5-8 bud sites and not the usual 2-3 . If you are topping for a security reason you can use a power cropping style where you twist the supple part of the branches or supple top then bend until you hear a small snap , within a week or two it should be healed but bent and out of sight from a neighbor or cop .
Just as a side note and a little more of a visual for the style F.I.M. means “Fuck I Missed”
