After the plant is done and chopped you have to manicure the bud, or chop off the leaf.  harvesting marijuana crop                                     When manicuring try to chop the leaf as close to the bud as possible, the leaves hold the plants clorofil, which is the harsh tasting smoke coming out of the bud. So you want the least amount of leaf and the most amount of calix.  harvesting marijuana crop                                      After you are done manicuring you have to hang the bud from 4-5 days, in a completely dark room, with air flow, and ventilation. harvesting marijuana crop                                      After the bud is dry it is smokable, but it is not done. The bud must cure for a month after being cut from the plant. curing is caused by molecules combining together and making THC. This is constantly happening after the bud is choped from the plant, for the first 20-30 days, but after that the bud slowly degrades. It is much worth the wait to let cure, not only will the bud be stronger but it will also taste better. In short you need to cut the leaf from the bud, hang and let drie 4-5 days or until stimms snap, jar it up and let sit for 3 more weeks. enjoy  harvesting marijuana crop                                         harvesting marijuana crop
