The bud must cure for a month after being cut from the plant. curing is caused by molecules combining together and making THC. This is constantly happening after the bud is choped from the plant, for the first 20-30 days, but after that the bud slowly degrades. It is much worth the wait to let cure, not only will the bud be stronger but it will also taste better.
